-We provide superbills upon request so that you can submit these to your insurance provider for out-of-network reimbursement. Don’t like paperwork? We have also partnered with Mentaya to submit superbills to your insurance company on your behalf.
Why We Don’t Accept Insurance:
–We prioritize privacy. When you work with insurance, they can decide that the would like access to your therapy notes in order to justify coverage. If you choose to receive a superbill, only the minimal amount of information is shared for out-of-network coverage.
–We prioritize care. When therapists work directly with insurance, countless hours are spent dealing with insurance companies instead of direct care. We would much rather spend that time working with you.
Insurance companies are also notorious for not paying therapists very well, which causes them to increase their caseload to full capacity (and sometimes beyond) in order to pay the bills. We prioritize smaller caseloads in order to increase the quality of our work.
